How long can an open blossom stay on the vine before it either turns into a tomato or drops off?? Believe it or not I planted out on 4/26 (Zone 6) and have several small tomatoes already on Polish (Ellis), Marianna's Peace, New Yorker, Brandy Boy and Big Zac. I have numerous open blossoms on Ugly, Goose Creek, Bucks County and Moskvich but no tomatoes yet that I can see.
