Default Leaf spots...old age or something sinister?

So my Sweet Olive is covered in fruit and starting to blush nicely...Lower leaves however, look sick. She doesn't have very many leaves as this seems to be a genetic thing so maybe these are just pooped out?....I hope?

Looks like bacterial speck possibly + or - some fungus. Always prune off spotty/diseased leaves asap.

I see lots of very tiny sucking insects. Try insecticidal soap, or neem or Spinosad. Or if you don't have to be organic, you can use Sevin.

I agree with Ginger. A pic of the bottom of the leaf would tell one way or the other. If it's mites or something else that's where the damage is being done.

Yeah, I was looking at it closer last night and a lot of those dots rub off...probably bug poop. I'll harvest what's ripe and almost ripe and spray her down tonight.

Excellent photo of thrips damage. The thrips are the tiny greenish-wedge-shaped-thingies you can see on the leaf surface.

Dag-nabit! Everyone is going to have a Neem bath tonight. I see them here and there but there aren't a lot of them. Thanks for the observation Heritage.

It could be the thrips are just a secondary infestation and the main pest is spider mites. You can check the leaves with a hand lens to better identify the primary "suckers".

Good luck,
Steve

She's just about petered out with her massive flush of cherries so right now she's in isolation. Just pulled a dozen ripe ones off of her this morning. She got neem and daconil this past weekend. Funny thing to note, she is the only one 50/50 native soil (in a pot) and the only one that got nailed. Her leaves are different than my other ones and maybe more susceptible.
