Sister to Cowboy, time for a RED tomato in my projects.
This is a big dark red red red beefsteak from the delicious x captain lucky cross. Red as a maple leaf I am calling this one “ Oh Canada” Big Regular leaf plants, large ribbed shiny very dark red beefsteaks, yellow epi intense traditional tangy tomato flavour. About 75 Dtm. I really love this one and hope it comes through again in the F4. Needs to stay amazing to keep that name. Early days, only time will tell. Karen,
This tomato looks as if purposefully designed piece of jewelry. Those small brown markings on the skin look incredible. I will keep my fingers crossed for the F4 generation. Dorota |

Yes, the brown lines look perfect, like designer stitches made by a sewing machine. Glamorous.

Another Delicious x captain lucky F3 to advance
small to medium pointed bicolour hearts on potato leaf plants Glossy bright dark yellow epi with a light rosy blush. Firm and juicy with a bright fresh tangy flavour. They hold very well and the blush and interior colour will deepen as they continue to ripen, Working name atvpresent and subject to change is Rose Gold Heart KarenOv Last edited by KarenO; August 21, 2018 at 11:26 PM. |

Karen, are most of your creations more tangy than sweet? Which are somewhat equal?
KP as it ripens get to that equal for me. btw, I am making another batch of fermented KPs. This time only KP. They prove to be perfect for it. Every single tomato taste the same, yummy.

I think they are all different in flavour. Taste is so subjective so since for most of these only I (and some Marsha) have tasted then it remains to be seen what others think.
KARMA pink is one I think tastes great if that is an indication but it is not the best of them imo so I hope everyone could find at least one they like among my tomatoes. So pleased you like it! Karen |

To me the KARMA Pink are more sweet than acid, but with enough acid to make them very tasty. I love them.

Ten days later, the same group of “ rose Gold heart” tomatoes.
Hold very well. The first photo just barely ripe, tasted fresh and tangy, now the flavour is rich and sweet and just delicious. The darkest one is getting soft but the others still firm. Very happy with this one so far. Hoping to repeat in the F4 KarenO |

Thank you Bill long way to stable but here’s something interesting.
From a branch in the same plant, a green and pink bicolour sport. Similar size and shape but different colours. Never seen a real sport before in my garden. Interested to see what happens if you grow out a sport from an unstable early segregant. This plant is only F3. Fancy that KarenO |

Riper they turn a dark bright orangey bronze colour.
I’ll let these ripen more and show you. Thought it was a mistake at first, it’s not K |
