Quite a few told me germination was poor but most were able to get a plant. Please tell me how germination was for you, I bet I gave this variety to about 50 people. I would really appreciate the help, because I want to get about 30 plants for a local sale to benefit my community garden, and I would like to know how many seeds to sow.
My feelings won't be hurt if it was poor, I promise. ![]() |

After sending some Rebel Yell seeds to you last Winter I was down to five seeds. Got all five to germinate. Gave four to friends and have one growing now with some huge specimens coming in the next week or so. Plan to save some for seed. Please let me know if I can help in any way!

No problem here with Rebel Alliance. They germinated well and were very healthy seedlings, more robust than many!
Thanks again for sharing seeds with me ![]() Linda |

I did not keep overall germination records for Rebel Alliance, but I did end up with two plants in the greenhouse and two more outside, all doing fine, though the outside ones are hit hard with fungal diseases. They are strange-growing plants, but very productive!

I had three of four germinate, the last one in 11 days. All healthy seedlings. I kept one plant, gave one to my son, and the third went off to parts unknown with the other plants I gave away to friends.
All characteristics seem to be as described, very interesting growth habit with the huge multiflora trusses, good taste. My only complaint is they do tend to split somewhat. I haven't had a chance to download my ripe fruit pics from my camera, but they look the correct red brownish color. ![]() ![]()

I don't think I've ever seen so many flowers, or fruit, on one truss. Holy cow!!!

It's astounding how many of the flowers do eventually become fruit, not all of course. And what I think is neat, is the leaves that have formed at the ends of the trusses.
