We grew them as a novelty. Every kind of bug in the area loved the taste of the tomatoes. If one of us had fallen into the plant - it would have hurt! It took nearly 30 minutes to cut and remove the two plants because of how thorny they are.

Dark fruit. The plant remains wispy and dark as well.

That will be a fun one to watch Karen, as it ripens! With those spidery sepals, it looks like a ghoulish Halloween tomato!

Spike looks a lot like the Carrot-like, Silvery Fir tree and other 'carrot-leaved' varieties..
Growing Lucinda this season, and it has beautiful foliage. Just like the other carrot ones, plenty of thickly growing leaves, very decorative. |

Hey ...If any of you
like the "edible and ornamental " I have a Black Hungarian peppers doing very well container friendly (2 feet tall ) ..early, purple fruit ...and beautiful purple Flowers some purple on foliage as well with mine .....hmmmm This container friendly pepper would go well with a Bonte Tigerette Silvery Fir Fuzzy Wuzzy even a Stick ..... If I extend this topic ...a bit does anyone know of other container friendly peppers with outstanding ornamental attributes to compliment an ornamental edible pursuit with Tomatoes ? ![]()
