As suspected my night visitor is a possum! He seems to not be taking any fruit at the moment so I think we'll just be friends

Squirrels don't seem to bother my tomatoes; rats go for the strawberries.

My tomato season is over this spring, but had problems with either a raccoon or opossum eating tomatoes. Once I wrapped tulle around the almost ripe tomatoes they were left alone. I think a raccoon would have ripped off the tulle and taken higher hanging fruit.

I love your webcam shots; Shame on that runner though.
