RL Polish "C" ? - Page 2

Here's what one of my RL plants looks like. (I'm growing 2

huh ... looks like we have diff. plants ... not only do the leaves look diff. but the bud clusters do as well ~ huh ... will snap shots tonight ~

Interesting news to report that the RL Polish C plant that I have has open blossoms that look like med/large parachutes. Really nice looking flowers...

But whats MORE interesting is its no wonder why what ever I have may cross so easily: the stigma looks like it sticks out a millimeter from the flower like a tomatillo !

(I really don't think its Polish C at all - however it does has intermediate type leaves - I'm thinking only fruit can tell at this point)

Tom, it's very hard for me to remember with great clarity what my RL looked like but I'd say more like yours than RIK's.

What was true is that the fruits of the RL were the same as the ones with the PL foliage which is why I decided to send out those seeds, b'c it was the fruits, not the foliage that was of interest to folks.

Maybe it was a bad decision to send out my RL but I did ask folks to never share the seeds b'c I really am a bear about folks growing a variety and having that variety express what it's supposed to express.

Carolyn,

Thanks so much for the info.

The leaves def. look different than RIKs as these are more
"oak-leaf"/intermediate PL and his leaf type reminds me of that faux
Red Brandywine I had last year that's going around.

Now I'll have to wait to see what the fruit looks like is what I'm most interested in.
Also, I need to check in with my relatives,
as I sent other RL Polish C's to them
(but they weren't as good looking a plant as mine ~

)
