Those peat cell look guilty.
I water my seedling in 5 days interval. I can even skip a day. In bogger pots, 5" dia. I would water once a week Plastic pots retain moisture much longer.

In my experience when a plant is stressed that severely it will never recover and produce well. Personally I'd dump them and start over. Well maybe keep one in the name of science.

I'm with Walt on doing the science experiment if you have room. How does a "resurrected" plant perform next to a non-stressed one of the same variety?

I'll also echo the 'start new plants' sentiment... and also co-sign saving one or two of the nearly dead plants for comparison's sake.

I don,t lno abput this "stressed" thing. I have had dying from (bough at clearance sale) an planted them an they recovered pretty good. If you provide them good growing conditions they should bounce back after a while.JMO
