Default Selling Tomato Plants

Has anyone ever tried selling tomato plants online? I am curious if the dept of agriculture has any special restrictions on shipping to different states. If anyone has any info, please let me know. Thanks

I remember reading someone complain that New Jersey was impossible to ship live plants into, due to required inspections and the wait involved the plants tended to die in transit. But looking on ebay now, live plant sellers seem to ship to all 50 states. California might be another state of concern regarding extra rules.

Along with Florida, Hawaii and Alaska. I think you also have to figure out the shipping part. If it was me I'd do a test ship or three to see what I was into.
