Default Lazy Crossing

I wanted to cross Crnkovic Yugoslavian and Jaune Flamme this year. I couldn't vibrate any pollen out of a couple JF flowers I removed. So a couple of days later I removed a couple anther cones and slide them onto CY styles. I had removed the CY anthers a few days earlier likely before they would have been ready for pollen. Fast forward a bit, it looks like they took! Does this progression seem like the cross is likely and self pollination was not?
