Default It’s About Time.

Hello everybody, I haven’t been around much lately and for good reason.
I have been working at the house cutting down LARGE 13 inch limbs from trees so my truck won’t be killed buy one.

I have also been riding my Triumph every chance I get and just thinking about what to do around the house next such as cabinets I will build and an addition to the back of the house.

But this is about tomatoes so I won’t bore you,

I just got the garden prepared for the new season what with all of the dead tomatoes to haul off and the tilling that needed to be done it was a lot of work.

I’m cutting back to around 100 plants this year and only about 10 or fewer varieties to plant and I can’t even think of 10 to plant.

Mostly small fruited and the old reliable Cherokee purple and Kellogg’s breakfast.

I haven’t even ordered seeds yet and need to look at what I have and then I will order seeds tonight before I get on a plane for work tomorrow.

Anyway it’s about time to get started for 2009 and would like to remind all of you guys and gals in the south to get off your duffs and get with it.

It’s going to bee a good year for tomatoes, (((I hope))).

Good luck to all,

Worth

Hey Worth, somebody out in your neck of the woods said he saw the darndest thing the other day. Said he saw somebody pulling a plow with a motorcycle. Anybody we know? Ami

You know that's not such a bad idea.
I think I will hold off on the front end loader and backhoe attachments for it and go the plow rout next.

PS No oil leaks, and it runs like a scalded ape.

Yep, I just got back from a 9 day vacation, and my tomato plants have finally died. No garden fresh tomatoes for Christmas, but we did have them at Thanksgiving. It was a good year, especially the fall garden.

I have tickets to see a play in April entitled "A Bad Year for Tomatoes." Now normally I'm not superstitious, but...
