Default Storage melon

Picked oct 1st or so. Sat on my counter out of direct sunlight and at room temp of average of 72 degrees. Ate it today. Taste was solid. I picked it before it could get overly sweet usually that's when the skin starts to get deep cracks or checks. I am not positive on variety but I will be saving seeds and will have some for trade.
I also have a piel de sapo I am waiting on until the new year. I am pretty excited about this, if I had to guess I would say the melon is ashkabhad.
