It's been awhile since i grew Indian Stripe.. Was my favorite for the longest time. I don't know why i stopped growing it. Gotta find some seeds.

Because you got sucked up in all of the hoopla about new varieties and abandoned your old friends that served you so well.

HAHA! Most Tomatoes are my friends unless your a cherry tomato (to prolific for me). But i think i know why i stopped growing Indian Stripe. Gary O' Sena (Big beautiful tasty tomatoes).. No Excuses though.. i gotta revisit some old tomato friends for the fall garden.

Marglobe -- because it's such a competent workhorse -- and also partners with most other tomatoes well -- but is itself the mainstay of our roasted & frozen, canned, and made-into-sauce supplies for the nine months of non-summer we have here.

And because Grandma said that Marglobe was the tomato to grow for eating, for cooking, for canning, for sauces.
