Default Can I save seeds from Better Boy tomato?

A friend gave me a few Better Boy tomatoes and I was wondering if I could save the seeds or will it not grow true? Thanks

Better Boy is a hybrid and will not come true from seed.

You can still save the seeds if you want to, but the plants you get will not be Better Boy.

Thank you, that's what I thought. I'll just eat them then

Seeds for Better Boy, as well as for Big Boy and Beefmaster, are so doggone cheap that there really is no reason to save and grow F2 seeds from those varieties.
