Thanks for the quick reply. i never thought of putting 2 in one pot. I second it...your plants look very healthy and it looks like you should be getting alot of nice tomatoes. |

They are in my winter greenhouse. When I grow outside, I only put one plant in a 5 gallon container. I can control the humidity much better in the greenhouse-its quite humid and warm, but not hot like my summers are. I live in the desert Southwest.

Looking good! I have some indoor dwarfs, but not the newer ones (except for Tasmanian Chocolate, and a few I just seeded). Not sure the flavor will be great on mine as the house doesn't go above 70 degrees, but it's fun to see how others are doing with their tomato plants!

Photo of Caitydid sliced. I was astounded how good this tasted and how good Dwarf Jade Beauty tasted. Both at least 9.0, and they were grown in the winter here in the greenhouse. Easily the best two tasting tomatoes I have ever grown in the winter greenhouse.

Hey, not fair! You're not supposed to get 9 rated tomatoes in the winter while the rest of us have to deal with canned or store tomatoes! How great that the dwarfs continue to have great flavors! The picture of Jade Beauty looked very dark/bright green, so it does not get the yellowish cast of other greens when ripe?

I know that-thats why the taste of these two tomatoes blew me away! I thought I was hallucinating until I had my wife taste them-and she is very picky-she loved them. My Jade Beauty was a little yellowish underneath-but not much. I couldnt decide if it was ripe, but squeezing it, it felt ripe-and it was.

Wow that Dwarf Blazing Beauty looks great Michael! I hope to help grow this one out next year! As of now I'm enjoying the last of my 2011 crop which are mostly orange tomatoes and they too are pretty good for late fall early winter tomatoes.
