Cloudy and windy today, not that hot. Hoping for rain. Had a good rainstorm yesterday. The kind where it went sideways.

Drove through one of the hardest thunder storms and downpours I have seen in my life yesterday just north of my house.
If anyone had onions out in that area they are goners and the crop was ruined due to being beat to the ground.
All the traffic what little there was slowed to a crawl.

Starting Saturday there is twelve straight days forecasted here with the word thunderstorms. Gloom, despair, agony etc etc. Who'll stop the rain?

Weather here is now predicted to be nice for several days hand running, so that is good. Get some plants in, maybe even get too line dry some wash! Love the smell of line dried clothes.

Not too hot and with very mild breezes, though the UV will be at 10. Nice weather for a change

Speaking of TS, in forecasts, we have been getting that, ie forecast but no actual substantial rain. In 6 days we got less than 3 quarters of rain.
Now, they are forecasting 90% for tomorrow. We shall see and I will tell you all about.
Not complaining. We have been having nice weather but a couple of inches soaking tain can be a water bill saver.

The Rain is helping me so much this year. I run out in between rainfalls and Let The Lord Water my Historical Plants. I have been working so hard and Yes I needed this Miracle.

We are getting hammered as the humidity is slowing down smaller plant delicates growth.Our trees are gone crazy,blooms everywhere,now this weekend a “ squall “condition is forecasted,Two days ago Ft Lauderdale got a hefty 6-8 inches of heavy rain,meaning it splashes up 2 foot from ground,forget the goolashes In some parts the rain goes horizontal,forget the umbrella,this weekend supposedly a repeat.Then in two weeks our Hurricane season officially starts.The dstorm brewing now might be our first named storm.Stay home,power will go out,maybe.

I guess my newly planted alliums will be put to the test with 20-30 mm rain tonight changing to snow in the morning, with some 90 km winds to boot and a frosty night to follow. Kill or cure, if they survive it they'll be well watered in.
My container vegs are huddled in the yard under row cover tacked together with a couple dozen clothespins. So I have no excuse to laugh at those '24th of may' campers, who are expecting 20+ cm of snow tonight just a few hundred clicks from here in the national park. Oh what the hey, I can't help laughing. So glad we're getting rain instead on the Avalon (mostly! and fingers crossed, natch).

It's a beautiful morning here. We have been getting a few pop up showers and thunderstorms. Friday thru Sunday they are forecasting increased chances of precipitation. Up to this point I can't complain about our springtime weather as it seems almost perfect for the garden.

Bower, I hope your garden survives the late winter blast. I couldn't imagine trying to figure out those conditions. Best of luck!

It has been summer here for a while even though it's May. The weather people are saying it feels like July, and they're right.
