Default Brads Black Heart and Company

This is my first BBH off the plant and it's a whopper. Also a couple pictures of BBH, Japan Tomato Tree and a cluster of Kellogs West Virginia. I took the last two pictures inside and outside in the sunlight so you can see the diffeence in color rendition. Ami

Here's some pictures of the BBH from the previous post from the inside. Taste was very good. Ami

Most of my material that I obtained from Brad Gates in 2007 is just now ripening up. I made a special effort to select the most bizarre types of out crosses showing up in his grow outs last year. I took pictures of all the 50 or more kinds that I selected. I noted flavor so that I could use this localized flavor component in future lines. I will try to take pictures of the new and existing types as I go. Since I need L.B. resistance here, that is part of my plan.

Since Green Zebra is in the pedigree and many unknowns in successive waves of outcrossing with Brad's material, I am attempting to recombine his material of the broadest scope with careful pedigree crossings. In naming some of his most unusual types are Heartless Stripe and Scrofa.
