Spooky your tomatoes are looking really good, and looks like you’ll have ripe ones by Memorial Day.

Very late planting these so trying to help them out after the light dies outdoors.

Having real problems posting images on this forum.

Works perfect on the other half dozen forums I am on

Is the source image on your computer or are you re-linking an image from the internet (such as an image hosting website)?

Images on your computer can be attached via the paperclip icon that is called 'Attachments' (it isn't found in 'Quick Reply', but the full advanced reply function).

Images from the internet can be added via the 'Insert Image' icon that is yellow and has mountains and the sun.

Linking from image hosting site, sometimes it worked and other times not.
Sometimes would show some of the images and miss some out.
I will try the paper clip.

Tomato eating day is pretty good too. Three plants L to R, Big Beef, Creole, and Stupice. Stupice was ripe yesterday. Big Beef should come along soon. Might be a while for Creole

Default Bloody Butcher

This plant is prolific, huge, and unruly. Don't grow it if you have limited space. It's already grown out of its cage and I have had to tie branches to stakes to keep them from breaking.

Spooky, do you mulch around your tomatoes?

I start tomato season out by mulching the tomato bed with native hardwood mulch to control weeds and help with moisture retention. However, shortly thereafter, the live oaks drop their leaves (March) while simultaneously putting on new leaves. So the mulch is now covered with oak leaves. Then, in early April, the live oaks drop their pollen-rich catkins. It literally rains pollen, which covers everything, including the the previously dropped oak leaves. So my nice mulch is hidden under leaves and catkins. Sometimes I just leave things that way and other times I try to rake off the leaves and catkins as best I can.

Lol, I hate those oak catkins-they stain everything too.

Default Carol Chyko’s Big Paste & Others

Seriously, Carol Chyko’s Big Paste is really weird looking!
I know some tomato plants have “wispy/droopy” growth habits, but this plant kinda weirds me out (especially at night!)
It’s also the 1st plant that I’ve had produce more than 1 or 2 fused blossoms...I usually cull the 1 or 2 that I see on a plant—but after the 5th one on this plant I just let them go!

Ok, I’m done sharing my CCBP weirded-outness & have also shared a pic of my sweet little Tasmanian Chocolate’s 1st fruit to set, and Lithium Sunset’s 1st 2 fruit to set (This plant is beast! And is blooming like crazy)!

...can someone tell me why all pics that I tried to upload from my iPhone all appeared sideways/upside down? Drives me nuts!!
