I'm growing it for the first time this year and excited to try it. However, I have heard people absolutely rave about this tomato and on the other side folks say it is overrated and they no way ever grow it again.

I'm in richmond, and ast year was tough as you say. Did great here with sweet million, Arkansas Traveler, and Ponderosa.

Worth....that one is easy. my favorite child is Archibald. My other 7 boys are all brats
and the girls are not much better. Yep, Archie is an easy pick, but my favorite tomato.....
well, that is a little more difficult.

Well I have never had children so I can't really say.
I have had some favorite cats while others were a pain in the butt.

My all time favorite is Black Cherry.
I used to like Schellenberg's Favorite and I am growing it again this year to see, if I still like it as much.
Third one could be Amish Paste.

The number I have tried to date is limited, so by this sept. I am sure it will change. So far, BW suddeth, Black cherry, and San Marzano smalls, they are sooooo nice when dried or roasted. Got some Orange bananas to try this year!!!!!! I also had a mystery mater last year that I am growing again, I don't know if it is stable, but it was one of my faves last year, one rogue seed that was different from the others in the same purchased packet.

hello kenny i grew orange banana last year and although i ate them fresh and they were very good i have heard that they are amazing for drying

San Marzano rocks too.
These two did real good for me in garbage bags full of compost. Tasted great, ised them for salsas and sauces. Trying "large bar boar" this year.
