Default Peach tree problems

Planted a peach tree about 5 years ago it produced peaches at first but they would crack and waisted now my tree don't even try to produce and red and clear sap is pouring out of the bark.what causes this and how do I fix???? I want 🍑 peaches

It's called "gummosis," so if you google that you'll get lots of info. Often this is caused by "peach tree canker," a fungus called cyclospora, and the only treatment is to carefully prune away and cut out all the infected wood. If the infection is severe, it's probably too late and you'll have to remove the tree. Or it could be borers -- do you see any evidence of ground-up wood/frass under the sap? If it's borers, you could spray.
