I hope you get some good rain Deborah.
My 2015 growing season of was wet too. I understand what you are dealing with. Hang in there, hopefully the rain will slack up.

Default Utyonok

Here it is picked after rain, and the first ripe one cut. Very pretty. Flavor was mild, needed salt. I think it would do much better in a dryer season. This season is trying my patience.

Default EVERGLADES

Really these are average tasting, and very small, but folks around here go nuts for them. I grew them for the seeds, our garden's annual plant sale- we can sell 60 of them in 2 days. Whats the lure?- they grow wild here in the Everglades, and they set fruit in the heat.

Beautiful insides. Very nice Utyonok. Now I know what to expect in a month or two. Great close-up.

I hope your "baby-duck" tomato will improve its taste. It does look great.

Very interesting interior coloration. Really pretty, I bet the flavor will be better when it dries up a bit

I agree on the lure of the currant tomato, I am not a fan but folks seem to like anything tiny and cute and they are that. If they are ripe, I can't seem to pick them without splitting and the stems come off. me no likey.

Me no likey too. Every one of them split while picking. I have enough seeds, so I think I am going to pull it and pot up something better. People look at me like
I am crazy for not liking them much. I swear it!

Default Big Cheef Stripes aka Carneal Tiger

Pretty, very tasty balanced flavor, firm flesh, gorgeous stripes. I didnt show the top because of the cracking due to horrendous deluge rainfall for 2 weeks, but it retains green shoulders. About 4-5 oz, firm flesh, medium thickness skin. I will try this again next year, this year nothing is getting a fair trial.

Here is the cut fruit. The name is spelled correctly, it was named after someone's user name. Saving seeds.

Default Biyskaya Roza

Another cracking victim due to rain, but not too badly, and still retained a delicious balanced on the sweet side flavor. Lots of fruit set even in somewhat warmer conditons. Thin skin, and oh so meaty, would make a great sauce, but so far they haven't made it into the pot!
I love this tomato.
Thank you Ella Fisikov for these wonderful seeds, and I am saving more seeds. Such a pretty rosy pink.

Not a user name as I understand it from Bill Jeffers, but a real name and I have MoCross Carneal, seed production this past summer.

Carolyn, who simply cannot remember all that Bill told me about the person Carneal.
