With planting 3 whole potatoes and a lot of eyes there were a lot of stems[?] that didn't have any fruit, so today I replanted and only planted two whole ones with about 10 eyes on the two of them. I hope they don't care what time of the year they're planted, :-). Whooaaaaa! I got about an inch of rain today!!!

i think they prefer to grow in cool weather...but great haul you've got there earl!
i've been pinching spuds from my plants...not waiting for them to die before i collect a meal or two.
had these ones for dinner the other night. got them from my container garden, along with a few side dishes also from the container garden.
these are 'royal blue' potatoes.
