Wonderful, Wendy. Almost all of my TW TPS are growing in pots. I'll post some up to date pictures if I ever find time.

Great looking plants, Wendy. Just for size reference, how big are those pots?

This spring I ordered the 1# potato sampler from Tom Wagner for my parents in Montana. Today they sent me a photo of their harvest - I thought it was impressive and beautiful!

Thanks! They'll be happy to know they got a 'thumbs up' from New Zealand.

Thanks, I'll post their favorite varieties as they get a chance to taste them. I think they were also planning on storing some of them.

wmontanez, my parents tasted 'Rock River' today and my father's report was "Tasted it without anything on it and it was creamy as if it had butter, cream, and all the good stuff on it".

I might have to grow some potatoes next year myself!

Heritage,

I made mashed Amey Russet potatoes with just a drizzle of olive oil and water, salt and wow it was so creamy like it had butter and milk. You must try that Rock River. What is the color of that one? I think Indyartist was growing the River series as well. Tell your parents that once you get really good tasting spuds is not going back to bla potatoes

wmontanez, I think they said Rock River was one of the big white skinned ones... I'll tell them of your 'recipe' . Thanks!
