Default Sweet Potato Watering Collars

Since the sweet potatoes were just planted in a mounded row, any watering just runs off either side of the mound, taking soil with it. This morning as I was waking up, the solution hit me. Watering collars. I could cut some rings from old one gallon plastic nursery pots and sink them around the sweet potato transplants. They should hold the water until it sinks in. I need to mulch them tomorrow.

Just something simple but they work.
