Well..... If glass crystalized I am nots sure it would be transparent anymore in which case you would loose the visible roots feature...

Beyond that... When tomatoe juice is in the jar I guess you have two immiscible liquids...

Wal, I dunno. Am torn between admiration for the lovely see-thru pots and sadness for the jars which may never realize their full potential. Nice system, but I would need at least a thousand of them! Can't wait to see the swing out racks to hold them.
