Dan, just tell your friend to be patient, sometimes it can take quite a while.
Will be Worth the wait, will be nice to see some new tomato related discussions.

What do you have going on this year, do you think you’ll be close to or beat your record? I hope you grow the seeds I sent you
Here’s to some amazing tomatoes this year.

Pleased to send them, no postage needed.. Nothing would make me happier than for you to post pics of a BIG one of either of them. No world record necessarily, but a BIG one
Would make my whole year to see it. Here's hoping for better luck second time around.

I'd be anxious to see anything that you grow, Dan. I'm also looking forward to hearing from your friend soon- it'll happen.

Here is my first chosen one out of my Terhune seeds from my 5.42lb. It is at least 4 tomatoes fused together. We will see.

Hi, not sure what you are asking? I am not really in the loop, I just grow a couple of plants now and then for a decent size tomato. This year I am growing them exactly like my production tomatoes are fertilized, nothing else added. My theory is this, according to the lab my ferts are spot on, so to add anything just may be detrimental, and I have done just that in the past.
With that said, the difference will be how often I water it. I am thinking smaller sips more frequently, we will just have to see what happens. It seems that the tomato is about doubling in size daily. I have another of the same variety as well as a couple of Big Zac's if this is an epic fail. LOL
I will report soon, good luck with your own attempt.

All I'm asking is, do you prune to one or two main stems,or do you let it grow however it wants. Have you measured the circumference yet,you can take all three measurements X x Y xZand then multiply by .00055 and that will give you a good estimate of its weight.
