Tedln, I can't help you with your stawberries, but I can tell you that beets on the grill is a treat. I bet you will be growing more beets this fall.

Hi, Tedln,
I boil my beet, cool them, shred and combine with shredded garlic and mayo. My whole family loves it.
It taste great and looks great. You can eat it with bread or potatoes. I know than not everyone likes mayo. If you do, this is worth trying.

No! The pasture ornament belongs to our neighbor. He is a very well bred and highly trained gelding. Unfortunately, he only has a rider maybe once or twice a year. He is very sweet and loves to get his ears and head scratched.

I haven't asked for his "boodie dookey". I probably could if I asked. I'm just not interested in following him around with a bucket. We live in the middle of "horse country". Stables and breeding facilities are everywhere around here. Plenty of boodie dookey available for the asking.
