So far, I'm really liking the teepees. They add enough stability so wind can't knock the plants over, and also angle them so i can walk through easily. This is one. I believe this one has pineapple, GGWT, captain lucky, and candy sweet icicle.

Mocha splash, getting stripey

Bear creek

Captain Lucky. Almost kinda heart shaped?

Teepees are disappearing.

I bought tomatoes at the Farmers Market yesterday! I can't eat grocery store tomatoes anymore. They are awesome. I don't know what kind, small salad type, red/round. I don't know if they taste extra good because they are, or because it's been so long since I've had a real tomato.

I hear many people saying that (first tomatoes taste good because you haven't had any). I don't think that's really so true, they just are, and it's mostly because there is a lot of 'assimilates' stored in the plant before production starts and there's extra energy lying around, which then gets quickly redirected to the those early fruits. The first one or two are a little more mild, but imo the best tomatoes are usually on the first or second truss unless you nutrition is on point.
Your trusses are loaded, you'll be swimming in tomatoes soon.

The first are always the worst here; maybe we get too much rain early in the season.

Several more have started to ripen, all small tomatoes. Blush, candy sweet icicle, and Barry's Crazy cherry. No big tomatoes yet, but I suspect the first will be Rutgers or Mocha splash, or maybe captain lucky. Or possibly bear creek, but I doubt it.

Today's harvest includes blush, pink tiger, lucky tiger, Indigo Cherry Drops, Barry's Crazy cherry, and a bunch of beans. Still no big tomatoes.

Mocha Splash today, just barely blushing, but it was barely above the dirt, had to get it before the bunny.

I wonder what will be next.

The answer to "what will be next?" is Everything! Ate that Mocha Splash today, a very good tomato. Better than the Chocolate Stripes I grew last year, and more balanced than the GGWT, which is just sweet. We have Bear Creek, Pineapple, Captain Lucky, GGWT, Martino's Roma, and Cherokee Green here.

Better picture of the big tomatoes. Smaller Bear Creek, ready to eat today, and maybe cherokee green.
