Default Sophie's Choice - 18 hrs!

Thursday night, I started my first few tomatoes - Sophie's Choice, Glacier, Yamal, and a few others. This morning, 4 of the 5 Sophie's Choice seeds had already sprouted - less than 18 hours!

I use the paper towel/baggie method, so it's interesting to see just how quickly the roots emerge. I don't remember any of mine being quite so snappy last year.

No, the biodynamics "calendar" I got is way too complicated for me, but the other one I have is more specific than the Farmer's Almanac. It's at www.gardeningbythemoon.com.

I dunno, I never did and have had very good results for many decades as far as germination goes.
