Package arrived today! Can't believe it made it here in only 5 days during the Christmas postal crush. Also can't believe you managed to get some of my hard-to-find requests. A Big Thank You for putting all this together, I know I couldn't do it.

Heather!

The seeds arrived about 15 minutes ago! I am so excited and can't wait to begin learning about all of the new varieties. Thank you so much for taking on such an enormous task. You have certainly brightened my corner of the world and I am very grateful. Thanks to the participants.....your seeds will soon be finding a home in SC soil where they will be surely tested by both weather and insects..........:-)

Pants........congratulations to you. Hope the crying has subsided, but just remember that it will eventually stop. Cherish the time.

Heather!!!

My seed package arrived and I can't thank you enough!!!!! For starters, I'm a beekeeper and the stamps had honeybees on them, I just loved the stamps and will save them. The varieties of tomatoes , peppers, and bonus packages were amazing. I've been looking for some of those tomatoes for sometime, so, so exciting. Thanks so very much, the whole experience has been wonderful. I just wish Canada were closer to Indiana, would love to meet you and the others in the exchange. Best wishes to you for happy holidays, you have made mine very joyous with all these new seeds to plant. All your work putting together this exchange is very much appreciated.

Through the snow came a smiling postman with a package for me (seeds!!!) and a package for the baby (from his uncle he is named after). Thank you so much, I can't imagine how much work this all must have been. I got seeds off my wishlist I thought were really obscure and I'd be looking for for years. Also thank you for all the well wishes and gratz for the baby. He's doing the growth spurt non-stop feeding thing now.

Anyone who got my Ghost Cherry seeds they are my favorite move them to the top of your grow list!

Hi Heather. I received "the envelope" today - Christmas Eve - a very nice Christmas present. Thank you! You mailed it on December 7, so it took 17 days to travel 1304 road miles (77 miles a day).

Here's MY result:

I contributed 14 varieties of OP tomatoes in 36 packets, 4 varieties of dwarf tomatoes in 17 packets and 1 hot pepper variety in 2 packets, a total of 19 varieties in 55 packets.

I requested 22 tomato varieties, 3 sweet pepper varieties and 2 hot peppers.

I received 41 tomato varieties of which 12 matched my requests (55%), 4 varieties of sweet peppers of which 3 matched my requests (100%) and 18 varieties of hot pepper of which 1 matched my requests (50%). I received 63 packets in exchange for my 55 submissions. Overall 59% of my requests were matched. Not bad at all, a success in my book. Thanks again, Heather, AND to all the other contributors, as well.
