I have an Astia zucchini plant in a shadier spot that has produced a few normal zucchinis. But the latest ones appear stunted. They come to a point at the blossom end, instead of being the same diameter for the whole length. And they've not grown at all since I last checked them a couple days ago. It looks like they were properly polllinated and started growing, then suddenly stopped. What causes this?

Every once in a while I get a zucchini that does that. I had one that had a big bulb on the end with the flower.
It might have something to do with the temperatures & amount of water they receive but it also might not!! I usually just cut them off the plants so they can focus on growing more regular shaped ones.
