Default Saving Diva Seeds

I spotted a male flower on my Diva cuke plant and that got me to looking for what to expect on a Diva plant. Diva plant is described as gynoecious (predominantly female with some male or staminate flowers appearing) and parthenocarpic (self pollinating)

Diva produces mostly seedless cucumbers. (I guess because its self pollinating, its not getting any pollen from male flowers, so no seeds form). Further reading suggests that if Diva is planted near other cucumbers with male flowers, and bees pollinate those flowers, you will get cucumbers with seeds.

Now I have a male flower on the Diva plant. So if I pollinate a diva female flower with this male flower I should get a cucumber with Diva seeds and I should be able to save those. Some seed sellers claim Diva as hybrid, while some don't say anything about it. So assuming its not a hybrid, but a stable variety, would this work? Has anyone saved Diva seeds this way?
