Default Lakota Squash

I'm thinking about growing this next year. Can anyone tell me how much room it takes up? Do you plant winter squash in a hill like summer squash? How long are these vines? Thanks!

Yes you plant winter squash in hills just like summer squash, at least I do. Lakota is a maxima squash which means I'd expect 8 ft+ vines.

Okay, thank you. I was thinking 8-10 feet so I am glad to see that confirmed.
