Thank you, your reply brought a smile to my face
The larger shovel is the typical size. The little one has a 3 foot long handle and is the garden transplant hole digging-est thing ever. The kids love it.

Does it have bark? No - see picture. Yes it sheds leaves every year. It starts producing leaves a few weeks earlier than oak trees (Like an Elm) and has leafs until November. 14 foot tall and wide. It could be a bush or ???

So these trunks dont die back to the ground but have no bark?
Not even a smooth bark.
How odd.

Trunks stay intact. The closest thing I can compare the trunks to is a crepe myrtle.

There are storms in the area. I'll try to get more pictures. I'm thinking it is more of a huge vine-like plant... it's different.

Leaves look very close to a type of fig but not exactly.
You have points on them but I haven't looked at every pictuer.
Still haven't ran across my book.
I have a lot of books.

It is starting to rain, so I didn't use the expensive Sony camera. This is the only clear picture that my old Nintendo DS took. It is a small branch compared to most of the rest of them.

I just remembered something from the decade of brain fog (2000 through early 2010 when the pain specialist had me taking opioids 24/7) We used to have a bird feeder there. The seed that started that plant could have been one of those bird seeds. This picture reminded me of this.
