Great pics, the pepper looks awesome. Is it common to have purple flowers on a pepper? I haven't grown many varieties, so the only one I've seen it on is Buena Mulata.

It is my first time to see purple flowers on a pepper plant. We have planted many new-to-us ornamental pepper plants this year and are waiting to see them bloom out. I wish seed sellers would include more or any pictures of what the plants and blossoms look like.

Ooh, more pretty things!

That second one is some kind of Allium, I think.

The yellow flowered looks like a potentilla but I think they have 5 petals so maybe not.
It's so nice to see something in bloom.
My Mom's first crocuses are up... still waiting here.

One of my (6) new butterfly bushes already is blooming. Love seeing the flowers. Love seeing the butterflies come to the bushes!

Very nice photo's Robert. I love wildflowers and often take long walks around our homestead and fields to take pictures of them in all their beauty.

I love and appreciate seeing other photos of native wildflowers from across the country. Very pretty.

Wild Daisies, they are a bi-annual that will reseed for you. Once they finish blooming they will die. The second pic is a Shasta Daisy which is a perennial.

4 and 5 are Yucca. 6 is Yarrow.

I need to mow the area these are in. Most of the wildflowers in this area have done their thing already - so it looks like a weed patch now.

One I didn't mow. It's a thistle. There is a long story about why I love thistles. I have had a thistle as my desktop background for years.
