OMG....I guess tomato season really is officially over. My friend just popped by to winterize the sprinkler systems. He rang the doorbell and stood there, teeth chattering....touque and gloves on. It's snowing like crazy out there. Once I got control of my laughter, of course I invited him in for a hot cup of tea, but this is crazy. I know it's not always true, but our first real snowfall is normally close to halloween. This is October 2nd isn't it??? Or am I just imagining things? Looks like we're in for a long one. And to think...I haven't even had frost yet.
