Thanks all. I will be looking for your list Carolyn. May just have to plan on a heart or three in 2016!

(in no special order)

Hungarian Heart, Julie's Red Oxheart, Reif Red Heart, Slyvan Guame, Wes, Zore's Big Red, Butter and Bull Heart, Eagle's Beak, Nicky Crain, Fish Lake Oxheart, Joe's Pink Oxheart, Couer De Velours, Giant Syrian, Oleyar's German, Yugoslavian Heart.

Another that receives special comment is Orange Russian 117 (a bi-color); some years it is the top of the list for beauty and flavor and production. Other years it is a flop. A black heart is Brad's Black Heart which for me is good some years and not so good others.

This year I am growing another five varieties not grown previously. You think I like hearts?
What are your new 5 varieries?

Wow... This thread is awesome! I was turned on to heart shaped tomatoes a couple years ago, as I didn't realize that there were tomatoes that looked this way. Pink Honey is the first heart I grew and the size, flavor, unique shape, and its pink color really made a statement in my books. Like someone else said, the size seems to be bigger and I usually get the same if not more of my hearts. I have received many heart seeds from some kind TV's so I should have a great great 2016!

Looks like I found my grow list of new varieties for next year. Great thread thanks to the OP.

Carolyn could you please just post your top 3 heart varieties? I think we are all curious, I know I am.

I'll list more than three but not until this afternoon or evening. Right now I MUST roll out to the front room b/c the semi-finals for men at the French Tennis Open are on, and I must watch.

Sorry, but somethings take priority over tomatoes.

Has anybody tried Berkeley Tie Dye Heart? And do hearts generally taste similar to their beefsteak counterparts? For example would Indian Stripe Heart taste like Indian Stripe?

If Carolyn offers it again in her seed offer, you guys should try Ludmilla's pink heart. Very early for a large heart. Very, very good.
