don burpee delicious seed is commonly available if you get there before home depot and walmart burpee seed racks sell out of the variety.

Melody....you say a blender works fine for making mayonnaise? I hated to have to buy a cuiesenart, and am glad you pointed that out.

Do you have a specific recipe you could offer? I seem to be collecting them now!

Mom used to make it in the blender long before food processors were invented...blenders were 'high tech' in the '60's.

Been a long time since I've made any mayo...I'll dig around and get together a recipe.

Just used Blue Plate for years and never got into the habit of making fresh after I married...DH was a Miracle Whip kind of guy and wasn't impressed with homemade mayo....now we don't eat much of either....still love it though...I could eat it by the spoonfull when I was younger, thinner, healthier..etc...
