Default First 2018 Fruits

An item to post your first 2018 fruits.

Mine are cheaters as they are still growing from 2017 spring. F2 plants of my own cross, green when ripe cherries. (Incidentally these GWRs don't turn any color when ripe, first I have seen this)

All the best in 2018!

Future, I'm glad to hear you still have 2017's tomato plants growing in 2018, after the wicked hurricane season we had. You take care, and best wishes for tomatoes all year long in 2018!

Thanks Bower. After 3 hurricanes in two tas, Bermuda was spared in 2017. For a while, the Atlantic looked like a bowling alley. I have some F3s from the dwarf project coming along too. Plus will take side-shoots are propagate. Big challenge is winter winds.

I was hoping someone would start up a thread showing off their tomatoes! In January, many of us are going through severe withdrawal. Southerners, whether in the US, the Caribbean, the Southern Hemisphere, wherever, show off your harvest!

It was about -20 degrees Fahrenheit in Southampton, Massachusetts last week.

How about Southampton, there?

I'm gonna cheat and post this again. No clue what they are but delicious from a friends greenhouse growing in dutch buckets. I'm slacking and started plants too late this year.

I can tell you that I need to eat more of these.

Mine is just a Tiny Tim micro-dwarf cherry, grown on a windowsill in my office, but to have fresh tomatoes of any kind is a treat when it's January in New York!
