Default Rodgersia 'Bronze Peacock'

Does anyone grow the perennial Rodgersia 'Bronze Peacock' in full shade?

We're thinking about getting these for the front of our house which faces due north and receives little sun and what sun it does receive is around sunrise/sunset. Looks like a nice looking plant/flower.

Thanks!

We finally found some of these locally this spring so bought 4. We'll see how they do. So far they seem to be growing well in their new spots. We had rhododendrons there, but the one wasn't happy, just too shady--those were moved next to our shed on the west side of the house.

I'll post some pictures as these guys grow through the year, I think the foliage is very attractive.

I have never seen nor heard of these. I try not to give up my real estate to foliage... so I am way behind on what is available anymore. I worked in a nursery for a landscaper when I was in high school. I got to pull weeds. that is it. I left that job pretty fast. I think I worked one season for him.

When they're full grown they'll be striking!

They seemingly are enjoying the spot. Just a little early/late day sun and moist.
