I have 2 Solar Flare tomato plants from Wild Boar Farms via Baker Creek growing I hope they don't turn out like that. lol

The good thing about that is you can eat a fried green tomato and a BLT from the same fruit.

I almost got Solar Flare this year but decided to try Mortgage Lifter instead. Have you tasted the SF yet? I have always been curious as to how they taste.

This is a good example of a catfaced king fruit. Two disorders going on at once. The cat facing is caused by poor pollination at low temperatures. The king fruit often occurs on the first fruit of the first cluster, when the plant is just beginning to become generative, and the plant is still too vegetative.

Just thought you might enjoy learning the terminology. "Hey, check out my catfaced king fruit!"

It was only a matter of time before I chimed in about a fused bloom tomato!!

It looks like it was beginning to ripen prior to some real growth occurring.
