Hello All,
These pics. taken last week, i've got too many birds and squirrels is the reason for the chicken wire. These were put out on Apr.8th and as you can see they are doing fine. The enclosure is twelve feet high and the BW's are bent over 2 ft. with lots of fruit already set. So far this my best year, I hope they make it through the hot part!!

Welcome, Gary- really nice setup and healthy looking plants! Birds and squirrels can cause some annoying problems in the garden for sure. Hope your harvest is abundant.

Oh I like it! Plastic to avoid frosts and get them a good early start, then chicken wire once the warm weather hits to keep out the varmits! Brilliant!

Looking good Gary!

The heat last summer was brutal so hopefully no repeats of that

Thanks for all the comments, I picked the first ML last night and can't wait to eat it. I'm fearful of Andrea and her 60 MPH winds and rain coming in tonight. I'm thinking of putting some tarps over the top to keep most of the rain off, don't want any splitting going on at this point !! I added a pic. with my pet giant turtle.

Both of those monsters look fabulously healthy. Good luck with the storm.
