Garden 2013!
Everything's doing hunky dory.
The grow out list is as follows: Tomatoes - Pink Berkeley Tie Dye Lucky Cross Coyote Rosella Purple Dwarf Wild Fred Summer Sunrise Tasmanian Chocolate The dwarves are doing brilliantly! Every last one either has a flower open or is close to it, and they all have lots and lots of buds in development. Pink Berkeley Tie Dye also has a crazy amount of buds, and the Lucky Cross, while healthy, refuses to bud for the third year in a row. I am convinced that the variety just hates me. Peppers - Italia Golden Marconi Red Marconi Lipstick Super Shepherd Kung Pao Eggplants - Indonesian Pink Blush Skinny Twilight Bianca di Imola Ripples New York Improved (not pictured - still in nursery pot) I'm excited about this! discrepancy,
They all look like they're doing quite well. Nice selection of tomatoes and peppers. I grow Hansel eggplants. Have you ever tried them? The Hansel produces a smaller fruit than say a Black Beauty, but has many more eggplants on the vine than most others that I've grown. I've never tried the Bianca di Imola. What size, color, and shape are they? I'm always looking for something new to put in my garden. Keep up the good work. It looks as though you're on your way to a good harvest this year. dpurdy |

Never have. I got into growing eggplants last year, so this is like my initial plunge into heirloom tomatoes all over again. I'll definitely look for it next year!
Bianca di Imola is a pure white large eggplant. I guess regular-shaped? I hope so! Thank you for all your well-wishes |

discrepancy,
Here's a couple of pics of a hansel that I grew last year. I posted 3 pics so you can see it from small to harvest size. dpurdy |

Update - one month after planting! I have fruit set on everything except for the Summer Sunrise and the Lucky Cross, the latter of which is determined to be a hater. Can't wait.

More pics. Everything has fruit now except Lucky Cross, which goes "lol no" and drops every flower it produces. Craaaaaaig, that variety hates me! The dwarves love me, though.
