You only need a couple of plants to get hundreds for next year. I started out with 75 plants and now have over 3500.

Nope, you should have put it inthe Wanted Subforum of the seed exchange.

But note that no one is allowed to sell anything here or offer to buy anything, per the guideliness that are posted in the Seed Exchange.

So why don't you do that and refer to your wanted thread once you get it up and ask folks to go there instead of continuing to post here in case someone has some Ozark Beauty plants to share with you. There are lots of sources where you can buy same, though.

Hope that helps

Carolyn

I bought a 6 pack of Quinalts today. I hope they'll fruit on the runners as claimed.

What do you add to the soil to get a 5.0 ph?

I use Fast Acting Sulfur for lowering the Ph, and Lime for raising it. Do not use Aluminum Sulphate. That's for lowering Ph for changing colors of Hydrangeas. Once I have my soil at the desired Ph, I'll feed them with Jack's Classic Acid Special as needed. This helps to keep Ph from working back up to it's normal 7.0 over time. http://www.jrpeters.com/Products/Jac...d-Special.html

Just ordered my strawberries today. We have a big bed in the front yard and my wife loves strawberries so we are putting out 50 plants. I hope they do well. Any secrets I should know as a first-time grower?

I ordered from Park Seed. We ordered 25 each of Ft. Laramie and Surecrop.
