Default Store Cherokee Purple plants

These plants store-bought Cherokee Purple had little leafs when I got these. Now 2 weeks they are not growing. I got 6 plants for only $2, and the other 2 shot are plants from my seeds. Should i leave these Cherokee Purple in the garden?

well I could be wrong but from the pictures they look healthy. They dont look diseased so why not wait and see. For how long have they not grown? They do look very stubby.

Yes they were so cheap the roots were stuffed in the 6 small 2" by 3".I did put them in ground without open the roots. 2 weeks ago, so 1 weeks ago i dug the plants out and open the roots. And this are in ground 6" deep.

if you're saying you dug up the plants after 1 week and "opened up" the roots it no surprise they arent taking off yet. give them some time and i'm sure they'll be fine

They look great to me. I believe it took my severely pot bound nursery bought plants about 3 weeks before I saw any substantial growth. It takes time for the roots to learn there is food available past the former barrier once its been removed. I didn't open the root ball but rather just plunked the thing down in the hole and covered it with 3-2-1 mix. Mine are all in smart pots.

The flowers are delightful.

I'd also have patience with the tomatoes.
