Default A few Canadian Tomatoes

a few pics of the tomatoes on my deck. I have the majority of my plants in the ground in 3 different gardens but these are a few of my special pets. Many of the plants I am growing are from seed recieved through Heather`s and Tormato`s seed swaps and I expect to have a lot of seed to share next year. They all look fantastic for the first week in June here in Zone 3a and are starting to bloom. Thank you to all who shared seed in the swaps! If I had to choose, I am most excited about captain lucky and shadow boxing (which I only had a single seed for !!! thanks Gary!

They're looking very strong and healthy! I love the potato leaf of Captain Lucky. Have you grown that before?

They look so wonderful! Karen, what are you using for the soil mix?

Thank you Tania coming from you that means a lot to me as I admire you quite a lot! I keep my potting soil from year to year and top it up each spring with fresh mix so this is a mix of the last several years worth of pro mix topped up with new miracle grow moisture control and my compost. I generally plant most of my tomatoes in the garden with a few in pots and these ones are my special pets on the deck where I can protect them in the event of a big prairie hailstorm. Thank you also Dak, no I have not grown captain lucky before and of all my plants that one is one I really am excited to try. Planning to save lots of seed too. I got the seed for it through Tormato's last swap. So far they all are very healthy and growing like gangbusters which makes me very happy

And of course Tania, the Anmore dewdrop and Anmore treasures are from your site as well as the Berkeley tie dye pink all of which I just can't wait to taste!
