No fertilizer in my Promix (HP) although it does have mycorrhiza. The MG did have fertilizer in the mix. To be fair, air temperature probably ranged from 58-63, so perhaps a difference would have been more apparent at higher temperatures.

I'll be trialing a few mixes side by side on my tubes this year, smaller volumes (approximately 4 gallons of mix) will allow for higher quality media, cukes and tomatoes will get:

Expert Gardener 24-8-16 with micronutrients. Walmart sells it in a 5 pound box.
