Default Surrogate garden at work update

Due to the hot weather we experienced in late June and July fruit set was late and the tomatoes are getting to the point that if the weather holds this month I should get a descent harvest. First picture of the plants was taken 18 August and the remaining pictures of the fruits was taken on the 3rd of Sept.

Looking good! So nice to be disease free so late in the summer. Do your co-workers ever help themselves to ripe tomatoes without asking? Or have you given them free rein?

Great harvest coming to you, Ted/Theo/Teddy/Theodore/Other .....

Looks like you've had a lot of work that had to get done to have such beautiful plants at this point in the cycle. But then, you ALWAYS do. Great looking surrogate patch.

No, they are pretty good about that. In fact they will point out the ones that are ripe which I have missed. We normally have contractors come over from the States during the summer to do maintenance and they always ask me how the tomato patch is doing. And I give them seeds to take back with them when they are finished.

Ami, that will make a LOT of salads, sauces etc. when they are all ripe! Congrats! I'm very pleased with this year, too, but some of my plants have already started to die...
