Default Favorite varieties for hanging baskets

I think I've finally figured out a way to put a small vegetable garden in the front yard and make it attractive enough to keep the HOA off my back. Hanging baskets will be the centerpeice of the garden. Anyone have any suggestions for tomatoes for hanging baskets that will look fairly attractive and taste good? It seems like everything I come across is said to be either one or the other.
Also, does anyone have any suggestions for other vegetables that would look nice in a hanging basket?

Tumbler-either the F1 or the OP. Great variety for your purposes.

Agree with Michael - Tumblers are lovely and ornamental

Here are mine (F1) on Apr 24 last year:

Default Hanging baskets

I am looking for exactly the same thing! Tomatoes for a hanging basket. My "gardening" consists of flowers. I would love to keep the flower theme with attractive hanging baskets of TOMATOES! This is my first season as a "tomatovillian" so please be patient as I try to learn what I am doing.

Ciao Dens-

A lot of ornamental peppers are pretty small and do very well in hanging baskets. Silvery Fir Tree does ok in a hanging basket, but I'm not fond of the flavour after trying it for 2 years.

I wonder if dwarfs would work? They wouldn't do the floppy over thing that tumbler does, but Red Robin and Yellow Canary might work, they're very small.

Best of luck with this.
