Surprisingly light for its size; only 2.2 Pounds

There's one still on the vine that might be larger.

It was getting pretty ripe and I didn't have anyone to share it with so I had that little bugger for lunch today all by myself. I made a tomato and mayo sandwich and ate the rest with a little salt. I'm still full but it was great!

Eating a 2.2 pound tomato for lunch: Marc, you da man.

That's one variety that I've been wanting to grow, especially considering I was born Lebanese.

It would have been over-ripe in another day. Such an odd shaped tomato I might have had to trim about 1/2 pound off of it but that's still no excuse for pigging out on the whole thing. But I don't care. This winter I'll be wishing I could eat one twice as big.
